"When the Japanese mend broken objects, they aggrandize the
damage by filling the cracks with gold. They believe that when
something's suffered damage and has a history it becomes more
beautiful."
-Barbara Bloom

Have you noticed other peoples choices seem sooo easy?
You could solve their life in 30-minutes or less ... and even draw
helpful diagrams with lists ... but! your choices seem to have so
many angles and sides and people's needs, views, opinions that
need to be considered that it sometimes takes days, weeks, years
... and then sometimes no decision becomes your decision ... lol!
Because, if you didn't have this,
that, and the other to consider, you could do what your heart
wants to do ... but, for now, you have to do what is expected of
you, is the right thing, what won't hurt feelings, is what's best for everyone, except you ...
aarrrgggghhhhh!
Then there comes this moment when you think ... EFF ALL THAT
and the little dog too! ... this ones for me! LOL!
Here are some of my favorite 'choice' quotes to add to the
mental gymnastics you may be doing ...
"You've got a lot of choices. If getting out of bed in the morning
is a chore and you're not smiling on a regular basis, try another
choice."
-Steven D. Woodhull
"The hardest thing to learn in life is which bridge to cross and
which to burn."
-David Russell
"It is not easy to find happiness in ourselves, and it is not
possible to find it elsewhere."
-Agnes Repplier
"Sometimes at night I light a lamp so as not to see."
-ouch! these times hurt most
-Antonio Porchia, Voces, 1943, translated from Spanish by W.S. Merwin
"It is not impossibilities which fill us with the deepest despair,
but possibilities which we have failed to realize."
-Robert Mallett,
Apostilles, 1972
"If you do what you've always done.
You'll get what you always get."
---Kimberly Teed
-said to a sweet gal, who always does that
same stupid dung, then always wonders why life is always dung'y
Get your Zzzz's and Vitamin C's,
